This new addition to the Diablo family for 2010 will certainly become the weapon of choice for many golfers. It’s designed for speed, with the sleek design reducing aerodynamic drag normally associated with a large headed driver, which means the head will arrive at the ball faster, generating more ball speed, which ultimately means more distance.

Another feature to assist ball speed is the hyperbolic face which has been chemically milled to be thicker in the centre and thinner around the edges which will give maximum ball speed from the centre of the club face, and retain as much as possible of the ball speed when the impact is off-centre – we really like that part.

They have a fused titanium construction which really means they have a lightweight body and a strong face. This gives the Diablo Edge Driver the largest moments of inertia than any titanium driver Callaway has produced in the past.

The Callaway FT-9 Driver  is configured two different ways for two different golfers. The Tour shape which has been designed on feedback from the Tour golfers is for the very low handicap player or professional golfer. The Standard shape which is for the majority of golfers is designed to give a slightly higher ball flight and more forgiveness.

Callaway has added the Diablo Edge driver to their arsenal for the 2010 golf season. As you would expect from Callaway this driver is designed to be smooth hitting and deliver maximum distance and accuracy. The Diablo Edge is all titanium and fused together using a special acid reduction method to help reduce drag and excess weight, while retaining strength and stability. The result is big distance, with ultimate forgiveness for miss hits. This driver also looks and sounds good.
