Annual Passholder

All About Disney World’s Tables in Wonderland Card
Unlike the dopey deck of cards painting white roses red to please the queen of hearts, there is nothing wierd or silly about the Tables in Wonderland card, except maybe its name. The name might not tell you much, but this card formerly known as the “Disney Dining Experience” has a lot of advantages that you can enjoy.
Before you read on, you should know that this card is only available to you if you are a Florida Resident or a Disney Annual Passholder. For Florida residents, the card costs $100, while it’s $75 for the Annual Passholders. It’s worth the price, however. How? With the Tables in Wonderland card, you automatically get 20% on all food and beverages at Walt Disney World Resort.
This discount has very few restrictions, too, and every Walt Disney World Restaurant honors it. In fact, even alcohol and appetizers are discounted. This can be used at tables of no more than 10 guests. However, using your Tables in Wonderland card will automatically add an 18% gratuity on your bill. And because this is the normal percentage for tipping, anyway, it’s really not an added cost.
The Disney Dining Plan vs. Tables in Wonderland
So how does this Tables in Wonderland Program measure up to the Disney Dining Plan that goes with the Magic Your Way Vacation Package? Well, for one thing, this might not apply to you, if you’re not a resident of Florida or an Annual Passholder. If you’re a foodie, however, you might be encouraged to become a Disney Annual Passholder just to get on the Tables in Wonderland Program.
The Disney Dining Plan does not cover appetizers and alcohol, and is only good for 1 Snack, 1 Table Service meal, and 1 Counter Service Meal daily. The Tables in Wonderland Program isn’t for you, if that suits the way you eat. If you often resent not being able to enjoy a wider variety of dining experiences because of your limited Dining Plan, then look into becoming an Annual Passholder, and therein a Tables in Wonderland Card Holder.
A few other ways that the Tables in Wonderland Card is superior to the Disney Dining Plan is that it allows you to be eligible for special dinner events, like the Indiana Jones Dinner. Even the restaurants that don’t accept the Disney Dining Plan honors the Tables in Wonderland card. Lastly, the value of your card increases as you use it, thereby making dining at Walt Disney less stressful on your wallet!
